Jeronimo Maya, Flaminco Guitarist
'Doors Open' at 5:30. Dinner & wine is served from 5:45 - 6:30. Jeronimo will begin his performance at 6:30. There will be an intermission for wine refreshers with a second set following.
Jerónimo Maya, a true genius on the instrument and a direct descendant of the legendary guitarist Ramón Montoya, began his musical career at the tender age of five and soon became recognized as a "child prodigy" by the public and the flamenco community, receiving praise from great maestros such as Sabicas and Paco de Lucia. His playing, in addition to being virtuoso, exudes personality and character. His complex harmonies and musical conception are ahead of their time.
Whether you enjoy flaminco or just great guitar playing, this is an evening sure to remember. This kind of talent doesn't make its way to us very often. Welcome and enjoy!
